Instructions for registration

Review the Little League Age Calculator and Cornwall Little League Programs & Divisions page for help in deciding where your child should be placed.  

Little League International charters each local league and establishes the physical boundaries of that league. In general, players must reside with a guardian or attend school within those boundaries.  This is strictly enforced for All-Star team members. Use the League Finder tool to confirm your local league. at the bottom of the page.  We may contact you later if additional proof of residency is required.

2025 Spring Softball

Softball

Softball is offered to girls who are Little League age of 6 through 16 according to the chart titled 2025 Little League Age Chart Little League Softball.
All parents are expected to help out with their child’s team in any of several ways:
  • Field preparation which might be raking before or after the game or lining the field
  • Coaching - You probably know more than you think and we may need you to be the adult in the dugout (required by rule).
  • Managing – Need to coordinate the volunteers and initiate updates to the families
  • Umpiring - Maybe officiate another game so you can watch your child play.
  • Concession stand – Every team must send at least one adult to the concession stand to work from the first pitch until the last of the team sodas have been consumed.

All volunteers who have ongoing contact with the players must satisfactorily complete a background check annually. The application for this may be completed when registering as a volunteer.
